YO11 2BT\nThe Church of St Martins is a beautiful example of the medievalism of Victorian Art.\nIt is a precious example of pre-Raphaelite art. It was designed by the famous architect George\nFrederick Bodley.The exquisite stained glass is by William Morris\, Sir Edward Burne-Jones\,\nDante Gabriel Rossetti\, Philip Webb and Ford Madox Brown.\nThe pulpit\, fabrics and wall paintings are spectacularly decorated \nIn the church there is a memorial  plaque dedicated in memory of James Paul Moody who was\nthe 6th Officer of SMS Titanic  \n \nDate:  Tuesday 28th August 2018\nTime : 2pm Guided Tour\nCost: A Donation of £3 (payable on the day) Refreshments will be available at a cost of £ 1-50pp\nTransport: Own.
