The White Rose was adopted as the symbol of Yorkshire in 1471. For a long time there has been a debate about how it is should be used and displayed.  There have been many high profile court cases regarding copyright and now is the right time to put things right. Groucho Marx’s song “Show me a rose, or leave me alone” gives an apt title for Bro David Mooney’s talk.
