We normally meet on Monday evenings at 7.30pm,  starting in early October through until Easter. The region’s best known local historians are either members or are regular speakers.

We meet at:

Almost all the talks are illustrated.  One of our meetings is the Christmas Evening with a party atmosphere and a number of short seasonal snippets from members.

We also have a Member’s Evening, where members can present short pieces which wouldn’t occupy a full evening.

In addition there are occasional organised trips in the summer months (Pilgrimages) and an annual dinner (Refection) in the winter.

Our meetings are for members only, but we do have occasional open meetings which are advertised locally and will also be highlighted on this website.
