Augustinians enjoyed a members’ evening with a difference. Bro Max Lunn brought a wealth of photographs and other documents from the Central Library local history collection. Sarah Hutchinson from the library had asked for help in adding information about them.

Members armed with post-it notes and pencils circulated around the tables piled with these treasures. The resulting flurry of activity should keep Sarah busy for days.

Sarah also wanted to test members’ knowledge.  She asks what the link was between Bridlington’s High Street and the magnificent building on Horse Guards Parade in London. It was clear many knew the answer was William Kent.

The evening also included a brief AGM. Highlights were the appointment of Sub Prior Michelle Stephens as Prior for the next season, Bro Robert Amos as the next Sub Prior, and also a significant increase in membership over the last year.
